Reporting to Sourcing, you will work in close partnership with the Group Head of Sales and the sector and regional directors to build and challenge short-, medium
and long-term plans with brands and to organize performance tracking against those plans.
You will be part of the Group Business Controllers team and report to the Group Commercial Controlling Manager.
Provide support to and challenge commercial teams on any firm stock purchase requests.
Compare key operational KPIs (stock quality, number of items, sell-through plan on the site) and financial KPIs (gross margin, net margin, payment terms, cash flow, etc.) for each operation against group guidelines.
Develop analytical tools and monitor overall performance at the sector / country / team / salesperson level for these KPIs.
Track and manage company-owned inventory (valuation, number of items, sell-through) in coordination with finance and stock accounting teams to accelerate sell-through and optimize the company’s cash position.
Requirements
You are currently pursuing a Master’s-level degree (Bac+4/5) at a Business School or university, with a specialization in finance.
You have initial experience in management control, audit, business planning or consulting, ideally in e-commerce or retail through an internship or work-study.
Fluent English is required.
You are comfortable with data (coming from multiple and varied sources), including complex datasets, and have excellent modeling skills (Excel, Google Sheets).
You are passionate about business, eager to understand its drivers and to study what can be developed or optimized.
