Push the organization toward next-gen interaction models while staying grounded in real customer problems
Drive pragmatic progress with shipping improvements that meet users where they are today while laying foundations for tomorrow
Raise the bar for usability, design, and emotional resonance across the product suite
Partner deeply with customers and practitioners across K-12 to expand and evolve our user research practice
Ensure experiences feel natural and intuitive by meeting users where they are today while helping define the future of K-12 software through continuous discovery, testing, and learning
Champion clarity over complexity, especially as the platform expands

Minimum of 15+ years of relevant and related work experience
Senior leadership experience in platform or multi-product environments
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience
Travel occasionally, up to 20-25%, for key moments such as team summits, training, customer meetings, company events, etc., with increased frequency during peak periods based on business demands
Experience managing and leading functional areas or departments
Proven track record designing and scaling complex systems with simple, elegant experiences
Hands-on experience with AI-driven products or platforms, with strong instincts for where AI meaningfully improves UX
Demonstrated success working with multiple stakeholders and thought partners
Able to zoom out to ecosystem-level thinking and zoom in to interaction-level detail
Deep understanding of how design systems, platforms, and product strategy reinforce each other
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shaping direction where the answer isn’t obvious yet
