About this role
Role Overview
Develop and execute social media strategies that align with business objectives
Manage and update content calendars to ensure consistent posting across all social media platforms
Monitor trends and adjust strategies to increase engagement and reach
Manage relationships with vendors (photographers, videographers, etc.) and outside agencies to ensure quality content is being generated
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms
Design and edit social media graphics, short videos, and other visual content to support brand messaging
Write compelling captions, hashtags, and calls to action to encourage interaction
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner
Engage with followers, industry leaders, and partners to foster relationships and brand loyalty
Identify opportunities for user-generated content and brand advocacy
Manage online reviews, encouraging satisfied customers to leave positive feedback on Google, Facebook, and other platforms
Track key social media metrics, analyze data, and provide insights to optimize content performance
Prepare regular reports on engagement, follower growth, and campaign success
Work closely with regional marketing managers and sales teams to create social media campaigns that support lead generation efforts
Align social media messaging with overall marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns
Coordinate with the creative team to develop high-quality visuals and multimedia content
Stay up to date on social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices
Identify new opportunities for engagement and content innovation
Experiment with emerging social media features and formats to keep content fresh and engaging
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
1-3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
Proficiency in social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
Ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to multitask
Experience in the construction, paving, or B2B industry is a plus.
