Implementing the business strategy across the region and segment for the relevant APS product lines (PPC/EP) in selected sales channels
Building and leading the Regional Account Manager team to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in achieving APS sales targets
Ensuring the team complies with all policies and procedures and actively leading by example
Driving results and achieving revenue and pricing targets related to contribution margin, volume, differentiated pricing, quality, and services for the team and assigned customers
Managing working capital-related parameters such as payment terms, delinquencies, discount agreements, and the complexity of customer-specific products and services to achieve an optimal balance between cost and risk
Ensuring pricing policy is implemented in accordance with pricing guidelines
Working closely with internal stakeholders (Finance, Credit, Quality, Customer Service, Legal, etc.) to drive all sales-related processes
Supporting customer service to ensure service levels are met in line with customer classification and service level agreements
Developing and executing the segment sales plan, including the annual budget
Promoting operational excellence in price management, contract management, SOx audits, implementation of SuccessFactors, etc.
Reporting on key KPIs in the region
Recruiting, motivating, coaching, and providing feedback to Regional Account Managers and supporting them in achieving sales targets
Leading the team while also serving as Key Account Manager for European converter/tier groups
Requirements
University degree in Business Administration, Natural Sciences, or Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
Several years of relevant professional experience (+10 years) in polymers, sales, business management, or marketing, preferably in the automotive market
Experience in international assignments and working in a multicultural environment
Strong leadership skills
Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes
Languages: German and English fluent in spoken and written
Basic IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word/Excel, SAP R/3, Salesforce)
