About this role
Role Overview
Provide education and support to Health Care Professionals on Incontinence Products sold at Medline
Be knowledgeable on the safe and effective use of the Medline Skin Care products
Work alongside the LTC Clinical and Sales Team, to increase and support account growth and implement new corporate and individual LTC homes to the Skin Health & Continence Program.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills to ensure evaluations and implementations are completed successfully.
Complete account updates on a weekly basis utilizing designed spreadsheets.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on Best Practice Recommendations as it pertains to Incontinence, Skin and Wound Care.
Work with the LTC team to enhance account implementation and sustainability.
Support the healthcare facilities policy and practices at all times.
Attend conferences and sales meetings when required for learning purposes.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
RN | RPN Current Registration
PSW | HCA | CCA with LTC experience
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience, working with an interdisciplinary clinical team in an Acute Care, LTC or Home Care setting.
Minimum of 3 years’ industry experience in Medical Devices, specifically Continence and Skin Care.
Excellent interpersonal skills & client service skills (verbal and written).
Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
Proven problem solver with solid analytical skills.
Exceptional time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Demonstrates a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times.
Ability to develop effective working relationships with staff, peers, and industry colleagues/contacts in a team environment.
Demonstrated flexibility in adapting to a wide variety of tasks and functions.
Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt to change.
Ambitious and self-motivated.
Able to work independently with very minimal supervision.
Confident in developing and providing education based on adult learning principles.
Good computer skills (Excel/MS Word/PowerPoint) required.
Able to re-organize the days to accommodate needs for LTC homes.
Driver’s license required.
Ability to travel overnight when required.
Must be able to occasionally travel to other provinces or other regions within Ontario as required to meet the needs of the business
