Responsible for providing management, motivation, direction, and coordination for members within their section
Supervises the Data Collection Section including Criminal Justice Data Transparency, Summary Reporting System, and Florida Incident-Based Reporting System
Makes recommendations to resolve issues and problems within the section
Provides research and analysis of laws, rules, and regulations impacting criminal justice information programs
Plans and implements new programs related to criminal justice information and assists with strategic planning for the bureau
Requirements
Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis
Knowledge of basic management principles and practices
Ability to supervise people
Ability to organize data into logical formats for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials
Ability to utilize problem solving techniques
Ability to work independently
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments
