As a Manager, Business Development, you will be responsible for growing GMV sales for the Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) program as a part of Walmart's US E-commerce Marketplace.
You will generate growth by driving WFS marketplace adoption as well as maximizing seller sales.
Seller acquisition is a priority, and you will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding to Walmart marketplace.
You will increase adoption of Walmart Fulfillment services programs to improve seller performance and experience.
You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to create lead flows as well as manage your own pipeline of prospective Sellers.
Develop creative solutions to identify new prospects and build a strong pipeline.
Understanding of Sellers' goals, decision-making processes, and success metrics.
Oversee the onboarding process for new strategic sellers and develop initial targets and actions plans.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 2 years’ experience in business development, market development, product development, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in business development, market development, product development, or related area.
6+ years of successful sales/business development experience, preferably in e-commerce, marketplace or retail tech.
Proven ability to build strong business relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Self-motivated and self-directed. Demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.
Detail and results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
Experience working with eCommerce used and refurbished sellers is a plus.
Able to travel domestically to and from multiple facilities or worksites requiring consecutive overnight stays.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analytics (pivot tables, v-lookup, Macros, Power BI, etc.).
