Manager - Product Business Development

RRD is a leading global provider of marketing, packaging, print, and supply chain solutions. They are seeking a Manager for Product Business Development to manage activities related to new business opportunities, analyze market information, and develop recommendations for initiatives and partnerships.

Responsibilities:

• Perform market research to identify, evaluate and launch new growth opportunities
• Act as a project manager with respect to new opportunities by constructing an initial business case, identifying/researching potential partners, coordinating market research, and coordination with marketing to develop sales and marketing materials
• Identifies what is important to track within their selected markets and reports on developments
• Tracks and reports various performance metrics and modifies projections as appropriate based on insights drawn from industry events, customer behavior, technology developments, etc
• Provides ongoing competitive intelligence on competitors
• Act as a consultant by becoming a subject matter expert in a particular area and coach others as they launch similar initiatives
• Perform other duties and participate in special projects as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field
• 3+ years experience in business development, contracts, licensing or marketing
• Well developed research skills
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills
• Strong financial background
• Demonstrated project management skills
• General comfort in working with ambiguity
• MBA preferred
