About this role
Role Overview
Develop and implement market strategies for SAP solutions (S/4HANA, BTP, Cloud) within defined industries or segments
Own portfolio development: identify market needs, derive solution offerings and coordinate with our delivery teams
Work closely with Marketing to position SAP offerings, develop campaigns and establish thought leadership
Lead the presales process: run workshops, create value messaging and deliver proposal presentations
Build and maintain strategic customer relationships (C-level), especially in Industry and the Public sector
Coordinate bid processes and contribute to tenders and RFPs
Contribute to the go-to-market strategy and the continuous development of our portfolio roadmap
Manage the content and organization of proposals and tenders
Represent Wavestone at events, conferences and client meetings (Germany/Austria)
Requirements
3–8 years of experience in the SAP domain, ideally in Business Development, Presales or Portfolio Management
2–5 years of experience collaborating with delivery teams and/or marketing
Solid expertise in at least one area: SAP S/4HANA transformations, SAP Sales & Service Cloud, SAP SD, SAP MM or FI/CO
Ability to analyze market trends strategically and translate them into portfolio initiatives
Strong communication and presentation skills; experience with Value Selling, Design Thinking or Solution Selling
Structured, self‑driven workstyle and strong team orientation
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings and workshops
Industry knowledge (Energy, Public, Insurance) or experience in market development is an advantage
A degree in Business, IT or Engineering is a plus
