Maintain a calendar of industry events and support the team in identifying relevant exhibition and sponsorship opportunities.
Coordinate Compass' participation in third-party events, including exhibitor portal submissions and coordinating with contractors to ensure deadlines are met.
Maintain project management tools and create clear event briefs and run sheets to support on-site teams at external industry gatherings.
Coordinate the logistics for Compass-hosted events, including venue sourcing, catering, audiovisual needs, invitations, and registrations.
Liaise with speakers, presenters, and vendors to ensure a flawless event execution.
Deliver marketing commitments linked to our partnership and conference agreements.
Support event promotion and follow-up campaigns to maximise engagement.
Collaborate with Sales to ensure that event information is accurately recorded and promptly updated in Monday.com.
Track event metrics including registrations, attendance and pipeline, ensuring that post-event reports are completed within the designated timelines.
Ensure event leads are uploaded into the CRM promptly to support lead tracking and ROI reporting.
Maintain and organise marketing assets and materials in Google Drive and Zoho WorkDrive.
Keep an updated inventory of merchandise and promotional materials, ensuring they are fresh and relevant for upcoming events.
Coordinate with suppliers in Australia and internationally for event merchandise and promotional materials.
Arrange distribution of collateral and merchandise to our interstate offices and events.
Support CRM list management while ensuring ongoing data hygiene.
Maintain marketing project trackers and assist in monitoring event and campaign expenditures.
Collaborate with the global marketing crew on collaborative projects.
Create simple campaign assets (like social media graphics and email headers) using Canva as needed.
Act as the primary liaison for internal marketing inquiries, effectively triaging as needed.
Requirements
2+ years’ experience in marketing, events or a related field, ideally within the education or technology sector.
Strong technical confidence, with experience using tools such as Monday.com, Canva and CRM platforms (preferably HubSpot or Zoho), along with email marketing programs and a willingness to use AI tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
Strong organisational and multitasking capability, managing multiple projects, deadlines and event logistics simultaneously.
A proactive and structured approach to work, with the ability to anticipate needs and keep projects moving.
High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistently high-quality work.
