Contribute to the assessment and reduction of the site's environmental impact
Perform a mass balance of pharmaceutical compounds in wastewater discharges
Assess the potential impact of site activities on liquid effluents
Propose and implement a sampling and analysis plan
Analyze results, prepare a formal mass balance and evaluate the environmental impact
Make recommendations for source‑reduction measures
Identify and characterize sources of copper and zinc emissions within the plant
Propose a reduction action plan for these emissions
Requirements
Master’s student (M2) or final‑year engineering student with a specialization in: environment, environmental engineering, industrial risks / classified installations (ICPE), QHSE, process engineering, chemical engineering or equivalent
Good knowledge of the following topics: environment (water, effluents, metals, risks to aquatic ecosystems), wastewater treatment plant operation and the main points of environmental regulation, basics of impact assessment / risk analysis
Strong interest in pollution issues, discharge management and continuous improvement in an industrial environmental context
Comfortable with data analysis (Excel or equivalent); interest in modeling or mass‑balance calculations is a plus
Scientific rigor, analytical and synthesis skills, ability to structure a study approach
Good interpersonal skills, autonomy and curiosity to work on site and interact with different site departments
