About this role
Role Overview
- Oversees the computer system operations in an organization.
- Acting as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex operating systems.
- Independently performs a variety of system design tasks which are broad in nature.
- Directs activities of assigned personnel to various projects.
- Supervises a team of Sr. Systems Engineers, Network Engineers, Sr. Network Engineers, and Network Engineers through project completion.
- Plans and performs systems and networking engineering research, design development, and other assignments in conformance with system and network design, engineering, and customer specifications.
Requirements
- Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Customs and Border Protection suitability.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of at least one scripting language.
- Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networks.
- Knowledge of system security techniques
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
