This position helps provide and maintain meetinghouse facilities in Europe North Area (12 countries) and ensures that proposed designs convey adequate Church image in community, are defensible in terms of design, construction, and maintenance costs.
Working under the direction of the Manager, carries out a variety of moderately complex architectural assignments, exercising considerable latitude and independent judgement in developing solutions and initiatives.
Provides services in research, and design, for a variety of new and remodeled building types.
Collects and analyzes technical data to determine project requirements and reviews specifications, materials, equipment, estimated costs, and schedules.
Prepares and maintains records and reports.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Architecture.
Requires a professional license or equivalent certification.
Minimum of 5
7 years of experience practicing architecture, construction or project management.
Understanding of project documentation and project management principles.
Ability to communicate effectively with ecclesiastical leaders, clients, management and staff.
Excellent writing, training and presentation skills, including knowledge and proficiency in Office, CAD systems. Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam and other presentation programs proficiency preferred.
Commitment to research and understanding of current industry best practices in technical aspects.
English proficiency.
