About this role

Provide support to the Health Underwriter for risk assessment, processing and delivery of underwriting terms to Business partners/Direct Customers in a timely manner.
Follow up with Business partners/Direct Customers on underwriting matters
Provide general administrative and clerical support, including scanning, filling and archiving. File records according to the filing system used. Locate, retrieve and provide documents to claims team.
Ensure that all in-coming emails/couriers are attended, and enquiries be escalated properly for resolutions
Abide to Underwriting and Claims Guidelines set by Reinsurers and Manager.
Interact with all necessary internal departments as and when needed to improve services
Analyse statistical data/ reports
Assist Brokers, Agents and Marketing team for health product presentations at Customer’s premises
Market/ Competitors products research and analysis
Assist and provide feedback to Health Underwriter/ Manager

Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent
Have health Insurance and/ or General Insurance Market Knowledge and Practice
Medical knowledge and/or experience in the medical insurance sector will be a definite advantage
Be customer-oriented, proactive, dynamic and result oriented
Well versed in policy wording, policy terms and conditions
Good interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
Be able to handle pressure to deliver against tight deadlines
Be a team player
Have an outgoing personality with good communications skills
Be well conversant with MS Office Tools (including PowerPoint) and with passion to excel
