Manage disruptions and crisis that present risk to the supply chain
Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement opportunities through a partnering behavior with stakeholders
Ensure team adherence to established work standards and work processes
Responsible for escalation and intervention with CEVA stations in SOP compliance and use of systems
Provide alternate communication channels to stakeholders, beyond the daily operational channels
Contribute to the design and implementation of improvements to processes or policies
Responsible for business scope changes
Primary point of contact for all operational issues with the customer, as required
Monitor and manage compliance performance of carriers and supplier
Ensure quality metrics are achieved including on time performance, data accuracy, invoicing timeliness, and accuracy
Implement corrective actions as necessary to prevent / address issues as they arise
Support in the implementation of optimization and improvement projects.
Requirements
Equivalent of a Diploma or higher in business management or Supply Chain Management
Freight Forwarding experience and a thorough understanding of global transport logistics (air/ocean/ground)
3 years operational experience in Operations or Distribution environment.
Experience with E-commerce and/or a distribution center will be a plus.
Freight forwarding logistics and International Supply Chain Management
Desired: Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics or Commerce
Multilingual candidates a plus
Must be versed on safety and compliance issues
Knowledge of transportation / Warehouse management systems
Working knowledge of ITAR, Import Brokerage, Export Compliance, Hazmat Regulations, and recordkeeping; Some professional certifications may be required.
Advanced knowledge of office products, Excel, PPT, Word, Visio
Strong situational analysis, and decision-making abilities with the ability to quickly solve problems and drive team to solutions.
Understanding of operating processes and capabilities, business process standardization and enabling technologies.
Able to allocate work assignments; Proven experience in problem analysis, presentation of alternatives and implementing solutions; Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
