About this role
Role Overview
Act as the technical design authority for complex ServiceNow solutions.
Design and govern high quality ServiceNow solutions aligned to business processes and platform best practices.
Translate business and functional requirements into robust technical architectures and implementation designs.
Provide architectural governance, identifying and mitigating technical and delivery risks early.
Act as a trusted technical partner to customers, communicating complex technical concepts clearly.
Ensure adherence to coding, design, and delivery standards, producing appropriate technical documentation.
Support system testing and UAT, and drive improvements in application performance, stability, and maintainability.
Escalate delivery risks and issues to ensure successful outcomes.
Work collaboratively across all ServiceNow CoE teams, contributing to shared standards, best practice, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
5–8+ years’ experience delivering ServiceNow solutions, including acting in a technical or architectural role.
Proven expertise across the ServiceNow platform, including architecture, data model, APIs, development tools, and implementation patterns.
Architecture Excellence (ArchX) and/or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) accreditation.
Robust understanding of ServiceNow platform best practices and architectural governance.
Proficiency in web technologies, including JavaScript, REST/SOAP web services, XML, and JSON.
Demonstrable customer facing skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and confidently.
Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring, and design assurance within delivery teams.
Experience working across Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
Self-managing, collaborative, and committed to continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the Centre of Excellence.
