About this role
Role Overview
Lead strategic identification, prospecting, negotiation, and closing of high-value insurer and ecosystem partnerships in the UK.
Own the full partnership lifecycle — from initial engagement to negotiation, onboarding, integration, and go-live.
Drive market entry speed by aligning stakeholders and minimizing activation timelines.
Build, oversee, and manage a highly visible pipeline of strategic partners in the UK market.
Maintain disciplined follow-ups, CRM hygiene, and reporting to ensure consistent deal progression and closures.
Ensure execution excellence — no stalled deals, no loose ends.
Lead high-stakes commercial negotiations with judgment on pricing, underwriting, and partnership economics.
Collaborate with legal, product, technology, operations, and compliance teams to finalize agreements and accelerate execution.
Align internal and external stakeholders for smooth onboarding and timely go-lives.
Own monthly revenue, policy, and activation targets.
Drive partner productivity, volume growth, and KPI performance post go-live.
Identify cross-sell, upsell, and optimization opportunities to convert partnerships into long-term, scalable revenue streams.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the Country Manager on UK market dynamics, insurer behavior, regulatory considerations, and growth opportunities.
Represent BJAK in senior-level meetings, calls, and communications with partners, regulators, and stakeholders.
Facilitate fast decision-making and execution across internal teams and external partners.
Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve partner or execution issues while maintaining high standards of service and delivery.
Contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and operational improvements alongside executive leadership.
Support resource and capacity planning, including input on staffing and operational priorities aligned with business growth.
Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and UK regulatory requirements.
Communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately across all stakeholders.
Requirements
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in insurance and/or fintech, with strong commercial and negotiation capability.
Proven understanding of insurer economics, underwriting considerations, and partnership structures.
Established senior-level network within the UK insurance ecosystem for immediate access to decision-makers.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Permanent residency in the UK and deep understanding of local insurance market dynamics and regulations.
