Role Overview
- Provide technical guidance and support for ASME and PED-related projects for clients and BV regional staff
- Ensure compliance with ASME, PED, and special foreign codes, standards, and regulations
- Conduct onsite inspections and audits to verify adherence to ASME and PED requirements
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement engineering solutions
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including reports and proposals
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Perform quality control checks to ensure projects meet ASME and PED standards
- Identify and address non-conformities and recommend corrective actions
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in ASME and PED-related projects or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of ASME and PED codes, standards, and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in technical software and tools
- Ability to travel 8-12 weeks required to visit client facilities
