Independently manage customer relationships and support sales projects through the cycle from technical feasibility studies through to commercial negotiations
Conduct detailed analysis of vessel performance and fuel/emissions savings to develop a business case for client vessels fitted with rotor sails
Qualify leads and develop bespoke technical and commercial proposals for shipowners and project stakeholders based on their specific vessel criteria
Advise clients on how rotor sails impact regulatory compliance with IMO and regional frameworks (e.g. CII, EEDI, FuelEU and EU ETS, etc)
Act as point of contact for technical queries from owners’ side, and shipyard design and procurement departments from the early project stage
Conduct handovers of new projects for implementation to project team
Management of the company CRM system
Participate in client meetings, marketing initiatives and in business development activities in and out of local country, as required
Requirements
At least 3 years’ experience
Degree or equivalent qualification in a marine engineering/technology or Naval Architecture
Sincere interest in the shipping industry
A strong technical background and experience in B2B sales
Proficiency in Matlab and CAD
Experience working for an international business
Confident with ability to talk about customer’s technical needs
