About this role
Role Overview
Act as the primary point of contact for council customers.
Maintain annual business plans and track KPIs.
Lead commercial negotiations with councils for high-value deals.
Implement pricing and promotional strategies through cross-functional teams.
Monitor sales performance and provide actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate forecasting and compliance.
Drive growth by identifying and unlocking new categories and products.
Requirements
Strong financial, budget and commercial acumen.
Proven experience in managing complex, high-value negotiations with external customers.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Expertise in partnership management and business planning.
Ability to engage, influence, educate, and lead cross-functional teams.
Ability to influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders.
Skilled in working within fast-paced, matrixed environments.
Demonstrable experience in negotiating with local councils/local authority customers.
Experience gained in the Telecoms, Solar/Wind, Infrastructure, and/or EV sectors is preferable.
