Represents Collins Aerospace on internal and external USG legal issues
Acts as a strategic business partner to review, draft, negotiate, and advise on a wide variety of government agreements
Assists with managing and resolving contract disputes, bid protests, equitable adjustments, and breach of contract claims
Interprets complex laws, rulings, and regulations and provides expertise on legal issues to ensure compliance
Aids in the development and implementation of processes, procedures, and metrics to increase the overall effectiveness of the legal services provided to the company
Provides guidance on cost accounting issues
Requirements
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience
Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited institution
Admission to the bar of at least 1 US state with the ability to be admitted as In-House Counsel
5+ years experience with USG contracts law
