Design System Strategy – identify opportunities to strengthen and scale our unified design system across multiple websites, ensuring on-brand, consistent, and high-quality experiences
Component Design & Evolution – create new components and patterns, refine existing ones, and define variations (responsive behavior, states, accessibility, content rules) with a highly detailed, platform-first approach
Documentation & Specifications – produce clear specs and usage guidance (anatomy, behaviors, do/don’t, content and layout guidance), and partner with engineering to ensure accurate implementation and long-term maintainability
Implementation Partnership – work closely with engineering and web publishing teams throughout the build cycle, maintaining the component library in Figma and supporting production rollouts across sites
Quality & Governance – establish and uphold standards for consistency, visual polish, interaction quality, and accessibility; review work across teams to ensure system alignment and reduce design/tech debt
Testing and Insights – collaborate on and/or run lightweight validation (usability feedback, design critiques, and where applicable conversion-focused experiments) to inform improvements to components and system patterns.
