Responsibility for the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes into production, taking into account Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements and product characteristics
Planning experimental concepts in the process development and process design phases, applying Quality by Design and Design of Experiments principles for laboratory studies and technical batches in production
Evaluating results using statistical methods and assessing outcomes to develop recommendations for the further course of development
Developing process qualification strategies in collaboration with customers and Quality Assurance
Preparing, reviewing and approving development plans, protocols and reports
Preparing and reviewing GMP-relevant documentation as part of regulatory submissions
Handover of the manufacturing process to production through training and preparation of transfer documentation
Supporting international customer and regulatory audits by explaining development and process steps and their results

Degree in a natural science, pharmaceutical or pharmaceutical-technical discipline (Master, Diploma, PhD) such as Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Process/ Chemical Engineering or a comparable field
Business-fluent English, both written and spoken
Strong IT skills (MS Office, SAP, statistical software)
