Manage project administration for assigned portfolio of Project Managers, including establishing financial setup, revenue methods, budgets, and reporting in Deltek Vision
Analyze budget-to-actual variances, collaborate with project teams on corrective actions, and provide financial counsel to Sector Finance leadership
Verify contract and change order characteristics and monitor compliance with contractual commitments
Review, organize, and maintain key project documentation while supporting internal, regulatory, and client audit activities
Prepare accurate draft invoices aligned with contract terms, secure project manager approvals, and finalize submissions to clients
Monitor outstanding receivables, manage client A/P communications, and ensure timely resolution of unpaid or unbilled items
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 4 years of project accounting, cost accounting, financial analysis, or similar activity required
Strong knowledge of revenue accounting and invoicing practices
Experience with enterprise accounting systems required; experience with Deltek Vision or comparable enterprise accounting system highly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Exceptional communication skills and strong ability to collaborate in a team environment with matrix responsibilities
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Previous experience in a professional services or project-oriented field and rapid-paced, high-volume environment.
