Role Overview
- Responsible for the strategic procurement team in plant engineering
- Develop purchasing strategies to optimize procurement processes
- Monitor and analyze market trends
- Identify, evaluate and select suppliers
- Ensure long-term partnerships and lead negotiations
- Work closely with Engineering and Project Management
- Prepare reports for management on procurement activities
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Plant Engineering or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in strategic procurement
- Solid knowledge of contract law for works and service contracts
- Experience in process and project management
- Proficient with MS Office and SAP HANA
- Business-fluent German and English (C1 level)
