As part of the HR management team, lead and support the business in the implementation of the People Strategy.
Partner with the business in defining and implementing talent strategies.
Lead the implementation of key HR initiatives and processes in the business (e.g. future capability, people experience, SRP, succession planning, performance management).
Support the business in meeting its targets through the development, implementation and enabling of cost-effective HR best practice.
Track and interpret people KPIs within the business, identifying trends, insights and risks, and driving appropriate actions with senior business managers.
Be the voice of the business and define business requirements in the development of HR initiatives and interventions in line with the HR operating model.
Coach and develop HR Business Partners contributing to the overall capability, succession and performance of the HR function.
Create a positive team environment and role-model ESB values & behaviours.
Use insights from the analysis of people related data and leading external practices to influence and inform business decisions.
Lead and advise on organisational change initiatives/projects, ensuring optimal people outcomes.
Requirements
A professional, relevant qualification or equivalent work experience is essential.
Membership of CIPD is desirable.
Relevant HR/People experience, with a track record of delivery.
Strong relationship building and influencing skills and experience.
Understanding of business activity and commercial acumen.
A strategic orientation and ability to identify long term impacts of people strategies and decisions.
Ability to work with colleagues across the HR operating model on a variety of initiatives and projects.
