Take ownership of all aspects of the borrower relationship within the assigned portfolio.
Retain quality clients through expertise in financing options and service offerings, coordinating with all Avidbank support groups to deliver an outstanding client experience.
Exit or remediate underperforming borrowers with no losses.
Lead the Portfolio Management collaboration effort with the Origination team prior to loan closing to prepare for the seamless transfer of the new client into Portfolio Management.
Proactively track performance of client operations, interfacing with Firms consistently to monitor future loan utilization and deposit balances to report to Bank.
Ensure all credits in the assigned portfolio are accurately graded according to the Bank’s risk rating procedures.
Take ownership of independent collateral verification and protection, and borrower due diligence, on an ongoing basis.
Perform ongoing financial analysis to monitor trends and new developments that may impact loan performance, and to identify opportunities to enhance value to Avidbank and the client by providing additional or expanded beneficial products or services.
Lead the underwriting, approval, negotiating, and closing processes for additional funding requests or modifications to existing loans.
Coordinate with existing clients and Bank to win the business of any new funds being raised by the Firm.
Coordinate with Bank, legal teams, loan closing team and prospect to lead the documentation of the Loan and Security Agreement (LSA), negotiation of the LSA language and terms with prospect on Bank’s behalf.
Lead the collection of all Bank required documents from the prospect, diligence review, and establishment of loan facility.
Review all prospect documents, including fund agreements, subscription agreements, and Bank required forms to ensure Bank’s agreement and collateral are enforceable and compatible with prospect’s governing documents.
Prepare quarterly reports and summaries to keep management informed on portfolio performance.
Communicate with client and Credit team to anticipate potential loan issues or questions and formulate creative resolutions.
Keep open dialogue with clients, outside legal counsel, and banks to closely monitor market movements and trends.
Provide guidance for and mentoring of entry-level team members.
Travel for client visits and other meetings up to 15% of time (approximately 1 – 5 days per month).

Background in cash flow lending for sponsor-backed borrowers a plus

Bachelor's degree along with at least 3-4 years of experience.
