You acquire new customers and provide trusted account management for existing customers in the European market for our Plant Construction business unit’s China-based manufacturing.
You continuously analyze market and competitor developments, derive trends and potentials, and translate these into viable sales and market-penetration strategies that contribute to the success of the BUTTING Group.
You work closely with engineering, manufacturing, project management, sales and procurement to offer technically and economically tailored solutions.
You resolve technical and commercial questions, review specifications, standards and customer requirements, and ensure a reliable basis for proposals.
You independently prepare cost calculations and quotations, conduct contract negotiations confidently, and manage the process up to and beyond contract award.
Requirements
Completed technical or commercial vocational training, or alternatively a degree in business or a technical field.
Several years of solid industry experience in stainless steel, plant or process engineering, with proven ability to operate effectively in an international market environment.
Excellent technical understanding; able to grasp complex issues reliably and communicate them effectively.
Strong communication skills and a confident presence that convinces both customers and colleagues; high commitment and the ability to handle changing requirements with composure.
Fluent German and English for international negotiations; additional languages are an advantage.
