Ensure the proper process for calculating taxes (IRPJ, CSLL, PIS, Cofins, and ISS) and the submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance while planning and implementing ways to meet the department’s objectives efficiently and effectively.
Identify opportunities to reduce tax burden and mitigate tax risks by conducting feasibility studies for strategic projects, such as corporate reorganizations and implementation of new operational structures, providing insights on tax impacts and developing scenarios that maximize profitability and savings opportunities.
Review contracts and monitor current legislation, anticipating potential business impacts and providing insights on regulatory changes.
Prepare detailed reports with analysis results, supporting related areas in strategic decision-making.
Establish strategic partnerships with areas such as Controllership, Accounting, Legal, and Financial Planning, ensuring the correct application of taxes in the company’s operations.
Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of processes and procedures for tax compliance projects to increase speed, quality, efficiency, and output.
Requirements
Strong experience in direct taxes (IRPJ/CSLL/PIS/Cofins), preferably within the financial or cooperative sector.
Proven experience in team leadership, focusing on people development, performance management, and fostering diverse and collaborative environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
Postgraduate degree completed in areas such as Controllership, Finance, Accounting, or Human Resources Management.
Participation in digital transformation or continuous improvement projects.
Analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience using KPIs and predictive analyses for decision-making.
Ability to act strategically, aligning the team with organizational objectives and participating in internal forums and committees.
Clear and assertive communication skills, with the ability to interact across different areas, committees, and hierarchical levels.
