About this role
Role Overview
Monitor trade policy in Brazil and the U.S., including data collection and analysis of trade and investment and the preparation of position papers and studies;
Coordinate and support relationship-building and the implementation of engagement strategies with private-sector stakeholders and government actors in Brazil and the U.S.;
Support Amcham Brasil’s representation and institutional positions in meetings with companies, government, and stakeholders at various levels, and assist in coordinating Amcham’s Global Integration working group;
Liaise with other departments at Amcham Brasil to organize events, meetings, and shared projects;
Draft content, talking points, and presentations;
Handle operational processes required to carry out activities and meetings (e.g., invitations, mailing list updates, scheduling, protocol/ceremonial arrangements, etc.).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in International Relations or Economics;
Knowledge of trade policy and the economic and commercial agenda between Brazil and the United States;
Experience with trade and investment databases (e.g., ComexStat, Central Bank of Brazil, and USITC);
Strong analytical skills and experience working with data;
Advanced English;
Advanced Excel;
Availability to work in a hybrid model — on-site 3 days per week and remote 2 days per week.
PREFERRED:
Postgraduate degree in Foreign Trade.
