About this role
Role Overview
- Serve as a technical leader and trusted advisor for instrumentation, controls, automation, and SCADA projects
- Lead and deliver I&C planning, design, and SCADA master planning efforts
- Take ownership of project execution and coordination
- Manage scope, schedule, and budgets, and represent Black & Veatch with clients and partners
- Create relationships with clients and act as a liaison between the local design team, client, and remote design teams
- Lead business development efforts for I&C-related master plans and design projects.
- Pursue and lead SCADA Assessments and Master Plans to advise utilities
- Monitor and control project schedule and budgets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 10 years’ experience in instrumentation, control, and automation design consulting
- 4 years’ experience in water/wastewater industry
- 2 years’ experience in project management and business development.
- Holds an active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements
- Completes pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected)
