Role Overview
- Conduct and manage fieldwork on site investigation and remediation projects
- Oversee subcontractors in intrusive investigation works
- Perform soil, sediment, groundwater, and surface water sampling
- Assist in project management and client communications
- Ensure safety during project operations
Requirements
- Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in hydrogeology, geology or a related discipline
- Experience in hydrogeology, groundwater and contaminant transport modelling
- Hands-on field experience
- Knowledge/experience of remediation systems and techniques
- Knowledge/experience of project management
- Knowledge/experience of South African legislation regarding contaminated land
- Strong initiative, problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
