Strategic Account Manager, Retail HVAC

Role Overview

• Drive national business development by identifying, pursuing, and securing new end user relationships
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior decision makers
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans
• Manage and expand Commercial Retail and National Account relationships
• Lead the end to end sales process
• Prepare and negotiate complex sales contracts
• Collaborate closely with field sales, service teams, and regional leadership
• Work directly with building owners to improve system reliability
• Utilize team selling and solution partner strategies
• Collect, analyze, and apply market and customer data
• Represent the organization by building external relationships
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM updates
• Support existing customer relationships with significant travel requirements
• Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to field level professionals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 7+ Years of Experience in Commercial HVAC Sales
• Ability to Travel 50% Domestically
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a technical field (preferred)
• Experience growing market share in Commercial HVAC Service Sales
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Subject matter expertise in the Commercial Retail market
• High level of technical and financial expertise
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Adept at using Salesforce as a strategic tool
