Play a pivotal role in memorializing and executing the Amgen Product Security Strategy.
Support response and remediation activities related to Brand Protection, Illicit Trade and Supply Chain Security.
Collaborate across Amgen’s diverse internal network to ensure the effectiveness and agility of the Product Security program.
Focus on formalizing operational standards to support a newly created strategy and team.
Develop and execute an ongoing ROI framework.
Manage and assign BP Alerts and engage with external vendors.
Support threat monitoring, incident reporting and response, enforcement protocols, investigations, evidence management, testing and other key security functions.
Provide Amgen leadership with metrics, KPIs, and reports about emerging and ongoing threats.
Create collateral to promote education and awareness of Product Security issues.
Support security audits of vendors, suppliers, and business partners, both proactively and in response to specific concerns.
Coordinate efforts with other directorates within Global Security.
Requirements
Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 2 years of experience in either private or public (government) sector global or corporate brand protection, illicit trade and/or supply chain security, preferably within the biopharma industry.
OR Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience in either private or public (government) sector global or corporate brand protection, illicit trade and/or supply chain security, preferably within the biopharma industry
OR Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience in either private or public (government) sector global or corporate brand protection, illicit trade and/or supply chain security, preferably within the biopharma industry.
OR High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience in either private or public (government) sector global or corporate brand protection, illicit trade and/or supply chain security, preferably within the biopharma industry.
Experience with supply chain security standards and programs (e.g., AEO, TAPA, CTPAT).
Experience with intelligence and targeting approaches.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with the creation of SOPs, ROI metrics
Ability to exercise sound judgment and act swiftly.
Versatility to adapt to a dynamic threat landscape, manage details, and communicate effectively with leadership and executive stakeholders.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the capability to gather information and prepare clear, concise reports outlining issues, proposed solutions, and conclusions.
Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform well under pressure while maintaining sound judgment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong interpersonal skills to build consensus, lead by example, and present effectively.
Ability to prepare professional documents with clarity and conciseness.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Track record of fostering relationships internally and externally to shape the Product Security program and collaborate across all organizational levels.
