Acts as a strategic partner to the business, providing HR leadership and support
Formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to all levels of management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization
Conducts regular meetings with respective business unit management teams
Consults with all levels of management, providing HR guidance when appropriate
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues; conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
Provides performance management guidance and support to all levels of management
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation, has general knowledge of compensation and benefits
Drafts employment agreements for new hires, promotions, and transfers
Assists international employees with immigration processes
Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success; follows up to ensure training objectives are met
Owns full employee lifecycle, including recruitment and onboarding for the business unit to offboarding and exit interviews
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years progressive HR Generalist or Business Partner experience supporting functional groups
