Your role as a HR Coordinator will be essential in strengthening an internal culture based on respect, collaboration, and the well-being of the entire educational community.
You will take on a variety of responsibilities, including organising training programmes — aligned with the professional and personal development of staff — managing benefits and leave, and developing HR policies that reflect the school’s values and mission
Manage recruitment, selection, and talent acquisition processes.
Verify compliance with NAE legal requirements, including criminal record checks and certificates related to offences against minors, prior to access to the school and any contact with children.
Manage the pre‑onboarding process, ensuring all required documentation is received accurately and on time.
Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding of new employees.
Administer the offboarding process, ensuring the sign‑off checklist is completed correctly.
Contribute to the design and implementation of training and development programmes.
Provide support in employee performance evaluation processes.
Respond to employee queries and resolve HR‑related issues.
Promote policies, programmes and best practices that foster an efficient and healthy working environment.
Coordinate hiring information, contract terminations and any changes in employees' employment status.
Maintain up‑to‑date employee files and records in digital format.
Manage employee compensation and benefits plans.
Support employees with queries relating to payroll, leave and benefits.
Analyze key HR metrics such as time to hire, cost per hire and quality of hire.
Support the drafting, updating and implementation of internal HR policies.
Ensure compliance with current labour legislation and NAE corporate policies.
Promote initiatives related to workplace climate, wellbeing and team‑building activities.
Assist in managing and analysing the employee engagement survey and related action plans.
Contribute to the design of new benefits and initiatives aimed at improving employee satisfaction.
Support the reinforcement of a culture aligned with the institution’s values.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
2-4 years of HR experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and regulatory compliance requirements
English, Spanish and Catalan first level (C1)
Proficiency with HRIS systems (SSFF) and Microsoft Office.
Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with professional phone and email etiquette
High level of discretion and demonstrated ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Detail-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
