Support growth and development of the water resources practice with a focus on infrastructure and/or heavy civil projects.
Lead projects and interface with clients through all project phases, from business and client development through project execution, acting as a trusted advisor.
Provide technical leadership and closely collaborate with global technical leaders to bring the best in practice, innovation and depth to Canadian projects.
Prepare reports, memoranda, and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences including at conferences and seminars.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Civil or Environmental); Master’s degree an asset
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed in Alberta or eligible for registration
Legally able to work in Canada
15+ years of experience in water resources engineering and project management
Demonstrated experience with water infrastructure projects (including dams, reservoirs, intakes or conveyance, including development of standards and specifications, design and project execution) and strategic water resources planning
Strong familiarity with water resources in the Alberta context including the existing governance and regulatory frameworks for water management
Proven experience in client and project development
Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills.
