Completes engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements.
Direct communication with the customer for the assigned projects, including handling change orders and submitting required documentation.
Develops project objectives (budget and schedule) by reviewing project proposals and plans and consulting with Engineering, Planning, and Manufacturing.
Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, and reporting schedule performance for project tasks.
Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
Develops project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements with project team.
Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.
Controls project costs by reviewing cost implications.
Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends and recommending actions.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintains project database; entering and backing up data. Excel expertise a plus.
Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Select mechanical components and produce the related justifying documents.
Create / modify bills of materials.
Prepare Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering is preferred.
2 to 3 Years of experience in Engineering.
Project management a plus.
Exposure to cryogenic or natural gas industry is highly desired.
Advance skills in MS Office and Project suites are required.
Experience with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, ChemCAD, PV Elite, or Caesar II is a plus.
Experience with Pressure vessel and heat exchanger design is highly desired.
