Educational Consultant – Per Diem, ELA

Role Overview

• Facilitate high-quality professional development, training, support, data analysis, and communicate consultatively with teachers and leaders.
• Serve teachers in the classroom by coordinating on-site product training and professional learning courses.
• Adjust professional learning workshops to fit the needs of the participants.
• Help ensure equity in the classroom by delivering professional learning courses.
• Track and submit detailed training notes and complete all assignments in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 2+ years of experience in teaching, coaching teachers, and providing professional development.
• Strong working knowledge of the State Standards for Mathematics for Grades K–8.
• Fluency with using digital tools including online assessments.
• Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Excellent computer and internet skills including knowledge of Office programs (Outlook, Word, PPT, etc.).
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
