Role Overview
- Leading team efforts on department specific collection within a payor
- Assisting staff with resolving department specific issues
- Identifying and resolving department and payor trends
- Assisting manager or supervisor with special projects
- Motivating staff/promoting team effort and department goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
- 2 years of work experience in Insurance or Collection
- Skills: ICD 9 and CPT Coding, ICD-9-CM
- Certifications /Professional Licenses: No specific certification/professional license required
- Driver's license: A driver's license is not required for this position
