Support clients as they improve their HR function by providing professional level client-focused service and programs within the outsourced model
Serves clients by responding to human resources issues, problems, and questions mainly via phone and e-mail
Provides advice on requirements and application of HR best practices and client policies
Develops, implements, administers, and revises policies, procedures and systems related to the HR function
Manages and drives full service clients’ projects from inception to completion
Administers clients’ FMLA, other state protected leave, personal medical leave, and ADA
Administers clients’ government reporting such as EEO-1, VETS-4212, OSHA 300 and 301, unemployment, and other functions
Assists with establishing and driving full service clients’ human resources priorities
Develops, in conjunction with clients’ management staff, employee handbooks and procedures to align with compliance and practice
Provides HR needs such as audits, reports, projects, and relationship building
Presents guidance to client related to federal, state, and local regulations in a clear and timely manner
Advises on employee disciplinary procedure, performance management, and terminations
Effectively and completely records and tracks documents, client activities, contacts, and deadlines
Ensures documentation serves two requirements: 1) serves clients, and 2) accurately documents Asure involvement
Performs duties that require specific hours of work in the office and availability to answer the phone, counsel clients, and interact with clients and co-workers
Works with other HRBP’s and HR Specialists to efficiently administer workflow and phone coverage
Partners with HR Consultants to understand client needs and priorities and to customize work that is valuable to clients
Quickly establishes rapport, via phone, video, and e-mail with clients
Speaks in a confident, empathetic manner to earn clients’ trust
Develops and maintains subject matter expertise in functional human resource topics by attending seminars and workshops, reading articles and employment law updates
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
Two or more years of human resources experience and/or training (including recruitment)
PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification required, or ability to obtain certification within 12 months of employment
Computer literacy, accurate typing, and excellent Microsoft Office, e-mail, and research skills
Experience with CRM/CMS systems such as Salesforce highly preferred
Knowledge of other HR systems a plus
Knowledge regarding local, state, and federal employment law and accepted human resources practices
Ability to define problems, collect information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Initiative, good judgment, and a high standard of professional business ethics
Professional manner required in appearance, speech, and presentation of self and developed materials
Ability to maintain highly confidential information received from clients and Asure
Excellent project management skills
Ability to handle frequent interruptions from clients and co-workers and easily adapt to ambiguous situations
Must be highly organized and work independently with a moderate level of supervision
Excellent written and oral communication skills and close attention to detail.
