About this role
Role Overview
Administers various employee benefits programs, such as health, dental, vision, life insurance
Handles benefit enrollments, terminations, and changes
Serves as the primary contact for employees regarding benefit questions
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations concerning employee benefits
Develops and delivers benefits communications to employees
Provides administrative support to the leaders of HR
Manages the calendar of the HR VP and assists with scheduling meetings
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, preferably in Human Resources
Current national certification in HR (PHR/SPHR) strongly preferred
Three years experience in an HR position, or promotion from within HR with one full year of experience in HR required
Experience in large healthcare organizations, knowledge of accreditation standards strongly preferred
Excellent research and analysis, budgeting, organizational skills
Advanced proficiency in word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications
Knowledge of Federal and State law and regulations regarding employment, benefits administration, and Compliance Agency enforcement
