Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems, including switchgear, motor controls, control loops, PLCs (Allen Bradley), and both AC/DC systems
Ensure safe and reliable operations by identifying root causes of equipment issues and implementing corrective actions to reduce downtime
Maintain and repair process control systems to support efficient plant operations
Collaborate with project teams to define scope and instrumentation specifications for new installations and upgrades
Perform additional duties as needed to support operations
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and travel between locations
Ability to work in extreme conditions and elevated areas with PPE
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Commitment to safety and operational excellence
Technician II: 2+ years of related experience, preferably in oil & gas
Technician III: 3+ years of technician experience, preferably in oil & gas
Technician Sr: 6+ years of experience with similar equipment or facilities; Associate degree preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC applications
Familiarity with Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
