Leads or leverages cross-functional teams to gather and evaluate requirements, develop project plans, and manage deliverables for strategic programs within AC&M Operations.
Drives the execution and implementation of project deliverables, establishes operating mechanisms, and assures alignment with MDT and Operating Unit leaders in support of strategic business objectives.
Manages timelines and Gantt charts to ensure program deliverables are met from initiation through delivery and escalates risks and issues for intervention and problem-solving with project managers, Operating Unit leaders, and key stakeholders.
Monitors the effectiveness and performance of the program and facilitates the development of contingency plans and recommends actions to resolve issues impacting program goals and objectives.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress, reviews status of projects and budgets, prepares status reports, and communicates with stakeholders to maintain alignment through the course of the project.
Applies and demonstrates strong leadership that results in a collaborative culture using clear, credible, objective, and proactive communications and stakeholder management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of project/direct management experience or Advanced Degree with a minimum of 3 years of project/direct management experience
4+ years of experience in project management or new product delivery in a regulated industry (e.g. medical, automotive, aerospace, etc.)
High degree of competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Proven track record of successfully managing within a matrixed organization
10+ years of experience in Project Management experience (Nice to Have)
MBA and PMP / CSM Certification preferred (Nice to Have)
Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework methodologies (Nice to Have)
Knowledge in product development, project management in the medical device industry (Nice to Have)
Strong communication and teamwork skills; must possess excellent relationship building skills with direct reports, peers, and senior leaders (Nice to Have)
