About this role
Role Overview
Full-stack development: You build new features and optimize existing components of our web frontend (Next.js) and backend (Node.js).
AI/LLM integration: You work with current large language models (e.g., OpenAI, Google Gemini), integrate them into our systems, and develop new LLM-based features.
Tuning & training: You support the evaluation, adaptation, and, where applicable, fine-tuning of LLMs for our specific use case.
Tech stack maintenance: You help maintain and evolve our infrastructure and APIs — from data processing to performance optimization.
Proactive contribution & product shaping: You bring your own ideas, experiment with new technologies, and actively contribute to the development of our product and technical strategy.
Requirements
Strong web development skills: Practical experience with Next.js, React, Node.js, and common web technologies (HTML, CSS, TypeScript).
Experience with LLMs: Familiarity with large language models (e.g., OpenAI, Google Gemini) — ideally not only in applying them but also in prompting, fine-tuning, or deployment.
Technical understanding: You understand modern software architectures, APIs, and data processing, and have a good sense for performant, clean solutions.
Self-direction & motivation: You work independently, in a structured way, and contribute your own ideas — including when working remotely.
Language skills: Confident communication in German and English.
