The GIS Analyst acts as a technical advisor and SME, delivering high-quality geospatial data, mapping, and spatial analysis to support informed decision-making and timely service within School Infrastructure applications, including Asset Management.
They develop methodologies for sourcing, processing, integrating, and analysing geospatial data, derive insights through spatial modelling, and produce analytical maps, web maps, and dashboards.
They identify system gaps, champion automation and self-service, and provide governance reporting on system health, service trends, and major risks, translating metrics like MTTR and incident volume into actionable insights.
They design robust workflows and automation scripts, offer guided geospatial input for projects, and collaborate to develop spatial information products, while providing multi-application technical support, serving as an escalation point, and leading as the SME for the core GIS suite with meticulous data and output management.
