Role Overview
- Own the reliability of systems and define reliability targets
- Instrument and measure against reliability targets
- Build tooling and runbooks for failure recovery
- Partner with dev teams for operational quality
- Lead production incident resolution
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in Operations, Sys Admin, DevOps, or Software engineering
- Bachelor’s Degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
- US Citizenship & must have or be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
- Systems thinking – understanding how systems fail together
- Observability Fundamentals – understanding telemetry
- Basic software engineering – building automation & non-trivial APIs
- Linux/networking fundamentals
- Strong Communication, Collaboration, and Organizational Skills
- Specialty Skills: (1 or more) Kubernetes, ArgoCD/GitOps, disaster recovery, capacity planning, Grafana/Perses, anomaly detection, CI/CD, instrumentation SDKs, SRE practice onboarding
