Telecommunications Operations Specialist

Role Overview

• Provide troubleshooting and operational support for satellite voice/data, landline, and secure/non-secure telephone communications systems
• Support a 24/7 Operations Center environment with emphasis on incident response and event management
• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot communications infrastructure, including: Routers and switches, Servers, Leased-line communications systems, Cryptographic equipment, UHF communications equipment
• Monitor and maintain the integrity of multiple high-speed data links
• Identify, isolate, and resolve network and communications faults
• Develop and maintain network and system monitoring tools supporting global communications infrastructure
• Use data analytics and data science techniques to improve situational awareness and predictive monitoring of deployed systems
• Provide VIP communications support for senior government officials when required

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
• 8+ years of experience supporting a mission operation center within telecommunications
• Night shift schedule required, supports 24-hour crisis communications operations
