Provide HR leadership to support current and future business needs
Influence the development of HR goals, objectives, initiatives and systems that support a strong employee experience and strong SABIC brand
Responsible for SABIC’s HR operational processes & their governance (Employee Lifecycle Process, such as payroll, onboarding & exit, staffing, training and reporting, etc.), ensuring alignment with SABIC’s business strategy
Translate the winning SABIC Culture to the local workplace, through Global Corporate HR Partnerships, Diversity Equity & Inclusion
Lead site employee relations strategy, ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures
Serve as a trusted and capable steward to drive HR policy & processes (e.g. Salary Planning, Compensation, Benefits, Strategic Workforce Planning, etc.)
Support and encourage opportunities to improve talent management as well as build a solid talent pipeline to provide effective succession and support workforce planning
Counsel and support team in carrying out human resources strategies for client groups including recruiting, staffing, performance measurement and management, communications, employer of choice programs, talent development, retention planning, organizational design and action planning
Drive a culture of safety, inclusiveness, productivity and engagement through an array of employee relations programs
Manage Community Relations and work to continuously enhance the SABIC brand in the local community
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, master’s degree preferred
Industry knowledge and PHR/SPHR or SHRM certification preferred
Minimum of 5-10 years of related experience with strong working knowledge of employment law, employment practices, wage administration and training
Experienced business partnership preferred in a manufacturing organization
Progressive professional experience with prior experience coaching and influencing high performing teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to develop relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
Good knowledge of employment law, labor and employee relations and Human Resource (HR) policies and practices.
