About this role
SSM Health is transforming healthcare through smarter data, and they are seeking a Business Intelligence Analytics Partner Senior. This role involves building analytics to enhance medical group performance and support operational leaders by providing actionable insights from complex healthcare data.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop/support analytics solutions
- Serves as a subject matter expert for assigned areas of focus
- Develops and maintains dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI and other reporting tools
- Develops and maintains code across multiple data platforms (SQL server, Data Bricks, etc.) to extract meaningful and accurate information from complex and massive data sets
- Obtains and maintains Epic certification in Clarity/Cogito/Caboodle as required for area of focus, and at direction of leader
- Manages work in sprints, defining clear objectives with success criteria in each two-week period, or, dependent upon work, manages via Kanban
- Ensures data accuracy and integrity by performing data validation and quality checks
- Performs user acceptance testing
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and architecture for enterprise analytics
- Supports continuous improvement in analytics methodologies and processes
- Participates in relevant meetings for projects, knowledge sharing and may provide technical documentation and/or instruction to operation leaders
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or combination of combined education and experience
- Three years of data engineering experience
- Three + years of hands-on experience with SQL, SSIS, Python, and GitHub
- Obtains and maintains Epic certification in Clarity/Cogito/Caboodle as required for area of focus, and at direction of leader

- Data engineering/analytics in a complex data environment
- Working experience with Databricks
- Working experience with Azure Data Factory
- Working knowledge of the pharmacy or value-based care domain within a healthcare environment
